Dating from 1633, The Old Court House is a  a traditional thatched country inn that is also a Grade II listed building. There are many interesting features including an original Royal House of Stuart Coat of Arms (Charles I) since Charles I stayed here in 1644 on his first tour of the West Country in a wheeled carriage.

	A good range of traditional ales and ciders are available from the bar and we are open for food and drink all day, every day. Food from our extensive menu (with many home made dishes) can be served in the bar, the quiet dining
room or, if you prefer, the pretty cobbled courtyard garden.
